Announcing FolkeFest 22

With the support of the Festivals Fund from Creative Folkestone and the Roger De Haan Charitable Trust, we are delighted to introduce FolkeFest: Folkestone Contemporary Folk Festival. The festival is further supported by London Contemporary Voices and Arts Council England for our double headline event on Saturday 26th March at The Quarterhouse. Full details will be announced on 1st February.

FolkeFest is a project from Moving Being C.I.C., run by Folkestone-based artists and producers Didier Rochard and Sarah Rennix. The new C.I.C. creates and connects communities through arts, heritage and nature projects.

FolkeFest is a contemporary folk festival set in Folkestone's thriving Creative Quarter. Accessible, multi-cultural, vibrant, dynamic, inclusive. The annual festival will be accompanied by FolkeClub, a regular music night which moves between different venues in the town and district.
