FolkeFest is centred around The Creative Quarter in Folkestone, Kent, UK.

High Speed HS1 trains run regularly from London St. Pancras International (50 mins) and Stratford International (45 mins). Direct trains also run from Charing Cross, London Bridge and occasionally London Victoria.

FOLKESTONE MUSEUM

The main museum for the district of Folkestone, Hythe & Romney Marsh. The museum will be hosting an exhibition about Folkestone International Folklore Festival which was a largescale event that ran 1961-89 with hundreds of attendees from across Europe.

Saturday’s main event at The Quarterhouse is the only ticketed event. Other events are Pay What You Want on the door. Arrive early to avoid disappointment. Some events require registration - see event times and lineup.
